Oak Hill Youth Soccer

TEAMS HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED

AS WE BEGIN:

A FEW REMINDERS:

  1.  A reminder that there are NO ANIMALS at any fields, this includes Wales Town Office and Bucky's
  2. There is also NO smoking, alcohol, or other substance use. 
  3.  Please carry out all trash that you bring in.
  4.  Please do not leave your child alone at practice or a game.  If for some reason you need to be away, please notify the coach.
  5.  We ask that you please be a great example of sportsmanship for your child.  This is rec soccer not a professional team.  Remember coaches and refs are volunteers, please do not yell at them or the opposing team.  If you are seeing an issue, please contact a director immediately.

Tri-County Soccer League Rules

DIVISION 1:  GRADES 4/5/6

  1.   Field Size:  Full field
  2.   Goal Size:  Full goal
  3.   Player Fielding:  11 v 11
  4.   Game Time:  2 30-minute halves with 5 minute halftime
  5.   Officiating:  1 adult or 2 high-school player; no line judges
  6.   Game Rules: (enforced)
    1.   Off sides:  has to be blatant
    2.   Handballs
    3.   NO side tackling
    4.   Throw ins:  2 attempts given; after 2nd attempt, ball awarded to opposing team
    5.   All restart kicks are indirect, except intentional handball in penalty area
    6.   Substitutions allowed on all non-penalty dead balls (throw in, corner, goal kick, restart)
    7.   Shoulder to shoulder is alright; NO arm or elbow extension
    8.   NO jewelry allowed
    9.   Mouth guards REQUIRED
    10.   Shin guards REQUIRED

DIVISION 2:  GRADES 2/3 COED

  1.   Field Size:  Half field; 50 x 40 yards
  2.   Goal Size:  7' x 10'
  3.   Player Fielding:  7 v 7 including goalie
  4.   Game Time:  6 8-minute periods with 2 minute breaks
  5.   NO off sides called
  6. Game Rules: (enforced)
    1.   Handballs:  have to  be blatant
    2.   NO side tackling
    3.   Throw ins:  2 attempts given; after 2nd attempt, ball awarded to opposing team
    4.   All restart kicks are indirect, except intentional handball in penalty area

  6.   Mouth guards recommended
