- Your softball directors are Deb Whitaker, Shelly Blais, Jeff Lemont and Woody Bailey. Please find our email contacts under the Admin tab on the homepage of the website

- If you have any questions/trouble with the SportsEngine app, please send an email to vp@sabattusrec.com

- All coaches have completed NYSCA certification as well as background checks, so your children are in good hands. Please keep in mind that any parent who has not completed these, is NOT allowed on any field or in any dugout and this WILL BE enforced.

- If an issue ever arises, please do your best to resolve with your coach. If that does not help, please contact a director. If at that point, you still do not feel satisfied, please contact an officer (President: Chad Drouin, Vice President: Deb Whitaker, Treasurer: Amy Sheehy, Secretary: Kayla Sikora) email contact is found at the Admin tab.

- Please take a moment to complete coach evaluations at this link during some point in the season:  https://www.nays.org/RateYourCoach/  You will need your coach’s NYSCA ID number which can be found on the home page of www.sabattusrec.com Evaluations both good and bad are helpful in structuring our programs.

- We will be doing a cash calendar fundraiser this season. Each child must sell 6 tickets. Coaches will have tickets at practices and games this week. Please turn in your sales money to your coach or a director in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name and team. All money should be turned in no later than May 24th. The drawing will begin on June 1st (we will draw prior to the end of the season in order for all winners to receive their prizes). If you choose not to participate, there is a $30 opt-out fee

- For all teams except for Pipsqueaks, any home games at Bucky's field will need two parent volunteers to run the snack shack. A link to online signup for each team affected by this is on the main Softball page on the website and a SportsEngine notification was sent out as well.

- All teams except Pipsqueaks will need black softball pants for games. 10U & 12U will also need to wear PANTS to practices since we will be sliding. We will be providing jerseys and socks for all players (no socks for Pipsqueaks)

- Any 10U or 12U player who plays the infield will be required to wear an infield mask. You can find these at Gee & Bee, Play it Again or Dick's Sporting Goods. Each team may have 1-2 as backup. 8U is not required, however it is highly recommended. Each team will also have a few bats and a a few helmets for players may not have their own.

- League rules will be posted in the dugout and snack shack. Please remember this is REC SOFTBALL and not the major leagues. We want the girls to really learn the game and have fun while building their skills. Good sportsmanship is expected from all players, coaches and parents.

- All practice and game schedules have been posted, but please keep in mind that times and locations may be subject to change.

- If you have not already figured out who your coach is or if you have any other questions, please email (vp@sabattusrec.com) and I will guide you in the right direction.
